Few people stop to consider the purpose of the things that surround them daily, such as screws, wheels, the legs of a piece of furniture in their own home; these are “things” which are considered “normal” because they were invented in the distant past and, for the modern era, represent banal solutions considered to be foregone conclusions. And yet, if these “banalities” should disappear, their indispensability would become very evident, indeed. |

For the last 30 years, PABE has been creating furniture components from solid woods, and in particular legs for tables, beds and all that is found in the home; yet today PABE is not known to the public at large because it is part of the chain of production of “precious” wood furnishings well-known for their natural origins and the important designer trademarks. The manufacturers of the products bearing these trademarks procure their unassembled components from PABE, and these components are used to create products that, in the name of the home and home furnishings, are distributed world-wide. |

PABE was already in business when, during the acceleration phase from the artisan’s workshop to the industrial production line, a piece of furniture was richer in embellishments, applications, columns, capitals and complements in every style. |

The images included in this folder, not only serve to demonstrate the validity of a functional production line, but also to show that each individual employee is not merely the protagonist his lathe or engraving machine, but it also the guarantor of recognised quality.
